The Flash Movie

Andy Muschietti, director of the “IT” flicks and “Mama,” will helm “The Flash,” which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. In the first-ever standalone feature film based on a DC Super Hero, Barry Allen is played once again by Ezra Miller, who originated the part.

When Barry uses his superpowers to go back in time and change what happened in the past, it brings different worlds together in the television show “The Flash Movie”. But when his attempt to save his family unwittingly changes the future, Barry finds himself imprisoned in a reality in which General Zod has returned and is threatening apocalypse, and there are no other Super Heroes to turn to for help. That is unless Barry can convince a very different Batman to come out of retirement and free an imprisoned Kryptonian… even if it isn’t the Kryptonian he’s searching for. The only way for Barry to save the world he is currently in and get back to the future he is familiar with is for him to risk his life in a race against time. But will the ultimate sacrifice be enough to rewrite the history of the universe?

Barbara Muschietti, best known for her work on the “IT” films and “Mama,” and Michael Disco, best known for his work on “Rampage” and “San Andreas,” are the show’s executive producers. Christina Hodson (“Birds of Prey,” “Bumblebee”) wrote the screenplay for the film, which is based on characters from DC Comics. The screen story was written by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein (“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming”) and Joby Harold (“Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Army of the Dead”). Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman, and Marianne Jenkins are serving in the capacity of executive producers.

“The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti and produced by Double Dream and Disco Factory, is a film that is being distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Warner Bros. Pictures will be responsible for its distribution around the globe. The film is scheduled to make its debut in theatres across North America on June 16, 2023, and across the rest of the world beginning on June 14, 2023.
