Animal Movie on Netflix: Scenes that were cut from Ranbir Kapoor’s movie will be added back to the OTT version
Netflix has bought the rights to Animal and will soon say when it will come out, which should be in early 2024.
Animal, a huge action comedy directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga that roared in theatres on Friday, will soon be available on OTT. Reports say that the movie with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role will be available to watch on Netflix. The streaming giant bought the movie’s rights and will soon say when it will come out, which should be in early 2024. Also, the parts that were cut from the theatre version because it was too long have been added back, so people watching on OTT can enjoy the longer version.

Animal got a “Adults Only” approval from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). But even so, the control board told the filmmakers to cut out some of the more private scenes. After the movie came out, a scene of Ranbir and Triptii Dimri locking lips and lying in bed after a sexual encounter became popular. Triptii covers Ranbir’s breasts while he rests his head on her stomach. People on the Internet think this scene was cut short.
They showed a special version of the movie at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai on Thursday. Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, mother-in-law Soni Razdan, father-in-law Mahesh Bhatt, and sister-in-law Shaheen Bhatt all went. His star wife Alia Bhatt also went.
From what we can tell from the video, Animal is about a father and son whose relationship is having trouble. As he gets older, Ranbir wants his father’s love and wants his time, approval, and care. But missing it turns him into a violent and obsessed person, and when his father is attacked, he turns into a killing machine.
Shashi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi, and Anil Kapoor are also in the movie. Bobby Deol is very scary on screen as the main bad guy, even though he is small.
Animal is a 3-hour and 21-minute movie directed by Vanga that has an 18-minute action block. It came out on December 1, about the same time as the Bollywood movie Sam Bahadur, which starred Vicky Kaushal.
