In the near future, Louis Leterrier will helm the upcoming American action picture “Fast X”, which was written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau. The production budget for Fast X was initially estimated to be $300 million in May of 2022, however, it was then raised up to $340 million in November of that same year.
Fast X Story
Now in its third decade and still going strong with the same core cast and characters as when it first began, the Fast and the Furious franchise is one of the most storied and popular global franchises in the history of film. The tenth film in the Fast and the Furious Saga, titled “Fast X”, launches the final chapters of the franchise.
Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family had outwitted, outnerved, and outdriven every adversary that stood in their way throughout the course of a multitude of missions and in the face of unfathomable odds. They are now up against the most dangerous adversary they have ever encountered: A deadly threat that has emerged from the shadows of the past and is motivated by blood revenge. This threat is out to destroy everything and everyone that Dom loves for all time, including his family.
On a bridge in Rio de Janeiro in the film Fast Five from 2011, Dom and his gang were successful in eliminating the villainous Brazilian drug boss Hernan Reyes and dismantling his business. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante (played by Jason Momoa in the Aquaman film), was there to watch it all and has spent the last 12 years plotting out a way to make Dom pay the ultimate price for what he did.
Dom’s family will be dispersed over the globe as a result of Dante’s plan, which will take them from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London, and from Portugal to the Antarctic. Both new allies and old adversaries will reassert themselves in the future. But everything shifts after Dom learns that his own son, who is only eight years old and played by Leo Abelo Perry of the TV show Black-ish, is Dante’s final goal of vengeance.

Brie Larson, who won an Oscar for her role as Tess, a rogue representative from the Agency, Alan Richtson (Reacher), who plays Aimes, the new head of the Agency and doesn’t have the same fondness for Dom’s crew as Mr. Nobody did, Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad), who plays a Brazilian street racer with a powerful tie to Dom’s past, and Rita Moreno, who won an Oscar for her legendary performance
Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel, Justin Lin, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Samantha Vincent are the film’s producers alongside Neal H. Moritz. Joseph M. Caracciolo Jr., David Cain, Chris Morgan, Amanda Lewis, and Mark Bomback are the ones in charge of producing the show as executive producers.
