Under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (“Jungle Cruise”), the first feature film to examine the history of the DC Super Hero hits the big screen.
Teth Adam received the powerful gods’ powers in prehistoric Kahndaq. After employing his abilities for retribution, he was captured and transformed into Black Adam. After over 5,000 years, The movie has evolved from a real person to a story and then to a legend. Now that he has been set free, the Justice Society made up of Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone, challenges his one-of-a-kind brand of vengeful justice.
Johnson co-stars as Hawkman with Aldis Hodge (“City on a Hill,” “One Night in Miami”), Noah Centineo (“To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,” “Rush Hour 3”), Marwan Kenzari (“Murder on the Orient Express,” “The Mummy”), Quintessa Swindell (“Voyagers,” “Trinkets”), and Sarah Shahi (“Sex/Life,” “Rush Hour 3,” and ” Bodhi Sabongui (“A Million Little Things”), Mo Amer (“Mo,” “Ramy”), and Pierce Brosnan (“Mamma Mia!” and the James Bond series) all appeared as Dr. Fate.
A Jaume Collet-Serra film, “Black Adam,” from New Line Cinema, will be released in cinemas and IMAX locations worldwide starting on October 19 and in North America on October 21, 2022. Warner Bros. Pictures will handle its international distribution.
