Doctor Stranger Storyline
Park Hoon (Lee Jong-suk) and his father were taken as hostages by North Korea when he was a little boy. Park Hoon’s father, himself a doctor, provided his son with the best medical education possible in North Korea. Thoracic surgeon Park Hoon attained a level of brilliance. In high school, he had a profound crush on Jae Hee (Jin Se-Yeon). As his father passed away, Park Hoon and Jae Hee attempted to flee to South Korea together, but they eventually lost touch. Park Hoon starts his medical career in South Korea at the prestigious Myungwoo University Hospital. Meanwhile, he tracked out a woman who looks strikingly like Jae Hee and claimed to be unaware of Park Hoon: Dr Han Seung Hee. Suddenly it turns out that she’s back in North Korea on a covert operation with an enemy of Park Hoons.
